Every First Thursday of the month, step into Spain’s vibrant Tapeo tradition—right here in Paso Robles!
On Thursday, May 1rst, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we’re kicking off a month-long celebration of Stiekema Wines with an exclusive Tapeo event at Junction Tapas & Winebar in the historic Paso Robles train depot.

What’s a Tapeo?

Unlike a traditional coursed dinner, a Tapeo is a social dining experience where guests enjoy small, shareable tapas paired with exceptional wines—just like the bustling tapas bars of Barcelona and Madrid.

The Wine Flight

Winemaker Michael Stiekema of Stiekema Wine Co. will be pouring a curated flight of:

🍷 2024 Rose – 

60% Grenache 40% Mourvèdre with floral notes & bright acidity
🍷 2022 GSM –  A 31% Grenache 25% Syrah 44% Mourvèdre with fruit, spice & earthy notes
🍷 2022 Springbok – A big wine with notes of maraschino cherry, wild sage & cocoa.

The Tapas & Paella Special Menu – À La Carte:

Crafted by Executive Chef Nick Holguin, each dish is designed to pair perfectly with the wines:

Ceviche – Fresh halibut, cucumber, tomato, red onion, avocado, capers, Serrano Chile on a house-made tortilla tostada

Montadito de pate de Pollo y Queso Brie – House chicken pate with pistachios, brie cheese, pickled onions on grilled La Brea baguette slices
Costillas a la Parrilla – Grilled pork ribs, house baroque sauce, lime vinaigrette slaw

Moroccan Paella – Chicken, shrimp, dried fruits, nuts, lemon zest, cilantro, Valencia rice, house saffron chicken bone stock
