On Thursday, April 3rd, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we’re kicking off a month-long celebration of MCV Wines with an exclusive Tapeo event at Junction Tapas & Winebar in the historic Paso Robles train depot.
What’s a Tapeo?
Unlike a traditional coursed dinner, a Tapeo is a social dining experience where guests enjoy small, shareable tapas paired with exceptional wines—just like the bustling tapas bars of Barcelona and Madrid.
The Wine Flight
Winemaker Matt Villard of MCV Wines will be pouring a curated flight of:
2023 ALV Sauvignon Blanc – Crisp & vibrant acidity 2022 1105 Red Blend – A bold, complex flagship blend 2020 Tannat – Deep fruit notes with a smooth finish
The Tapas Menu – À La Carte:
Crafted by Executive Chef Nick Holguin, each dish is designed to pair perfectly with the wines:
Scallops Bechamel – Broiled sea scallops, house béchamel, jamon iberico chip – $15
Mushroom Gruyere Empanadas – Mighty Cap Mushrooms, gruyere & manchego, fresh herbs – $20
Lamb Pincho – Grilled marinated lamb skewer, mint chimichurri, celery root purée – $20
